How to set up Nikon IPTV on Android TV & Google TV

Android TV and Google TV devices, including many Sony, TCL and Hisense sets, NVIDIA Shield and Chromecast with Google TV, can run Nikon IPTV through a player from Google Play. Install the player, add your login and wait for the channel list to sync.

What you need

  • A smart TV or streaming device running Android TV or Google TV
  • A Google account signed in on the device
  • Home internet connection
  • Your Nikon IPTV access details

Compatible player options

  • TiviMateBuilt for the TV remote, with a grid-style guide. Some features need the developer's paid upgrade.
  • IPTV Smarters ProStraightforward Xtream Codes and M3U sign-in.
  • VLCPlays an M3U link; guide features are basic.

Use the Google Play Store on the TV device. Check that the developer name matches the official listing before installing.

Step-by-step installation

  1. 1

    Open Google Play

On Android TV go to Apps → Google Play Store. On Google TV use the Search tab or Apps → Search for apps.

  2. 2

    Search for a player

Type the player name, such as TiviMate, and open the official listing.

  3. 3

    Install and launch

Select Install, wait for the download to finish, then choose Open.

  4. 4

    Add a playlist

Choose Add playlist and pick Xtream Codes or M3U playlist to match the details you received.

  5. 5

Enter the server URL, username and password, or paste the M3U link, and confirm with Next.

  6. 6

    Finish the sync

Let the app load channels and guide data, then select Done to start browsing.

Where to enter your Nikon IPTV details

Once your free trial or order is processed, our team sends your access details by email or WhatsApp. Most players accept an Xtream Codes login (server URL, username and password); some accept a single M3U playlist link instead. Type or paste them exactly as received: they are case-sensitive, and a stray space at the end is the most common cause of a failed login.

Recommended settings

  • Set the guide to refresh once a day.
  • Hide channel groups you never use to make scrolling faster.
  • Use Ethernet where the TV has a port; it is usually steadier than Wi-Fi.

Troubleshooting

Channels buffer or freeze
Test your speed on the same device (aim for a steady 15 Mbps or more for HD, more for 4K). Move to Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, restart the router and the device, and pause other large downloads. If only one channel stutters, try another channel and tell support which one misbehaved and when.
“Invalid login” or “authorization failed”
Re-enter the server URL with its http:// prefix and any port number, then the username and password. Confirm your trial or plan is still active, and that you are not already using every connection your plan includes on other screens.
The TV guide (EPG) is empty
Guide data usually downloads after the channel list. Wait a few minutes, then use the player's “Update EPG” or “Reload” option. If it stays empty, ask support whether your player needs a separate EPG link.
Players named on this page are third-party apps, listed as examples. Nikon IPTV does not develop, sell or distribute them, and menu labels can vary between app versions and device models.
